This month, we were challenged to create clean and simple projects - without the use of any pattern paper. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a clean and simple project to share with you today.
"Thanks snow much". I thought it would be fun to color him with my copics in a bit of a cleaner style. Making the shadows super obvious and not blending the shadows together.
I stamped the image once on the sno cone card stock and once on my X-press it blending card paper. Colored it up on the X-press it and then trimmed it out and adhered it to the card front.
I added a little rustic heart with the sentiment from the "Thanks Snow Much" set.
layered heart border for detail.
"large leaf filled flourish".
If you look really close you can see that I put some of the "negative" portions of the die on the inside of the card.
"you make my day" stamp set and a mini heart from the "notched tag Die-namics" popped up on dimensional foam.
The first thing that I did was emboss the animals using the Die-namics that match this set. This gave my card a faux letterpress look. LOVED that!
I then inked up some of the fabulous new ink colors from MFT for the animals and drew in a little background line with my copic multiliner pen.
The sentiment is from the "On the line" stamp set.
You can see from the photo on the left the letterpress look I am talking about.
Below is my full supply list from MFT! Hope you enjoyed my peek into the world of clean and simple!
I am off to photograph the animals this week in DISNEYWORLD.....yay!
