MFT Creative Challenge!

We have a great challenge this month....at least it was for me. STEP AWAY FROM THE PATTERNED PAPER...lol!

The MFT design team was challenged to create project using no patterned paper. Back to the ol' stamping roots! There are lots of photos with this little project below....be sure to scroll to the bottom for a complete supply list :)

Here I made little treat holders that I can pop in the kids' lunch or I could use this idea for birthday party favors/decor....or how about place holders at a table?
Look what they are....double stuff oreos on a stick! I used inexpensive bamboo skewers from the dollar store and pierced my cookies:)

Here is a look at the little card if you are planning to package these up as a gift.

I went with a "dot theme" on the front.

Here on the inside, since I still had these stamps on my block, I pulled my colors from the front. I have versacraft ink in a charcoal which is a great match to MFT's Steel Grey accessories.

Here is a close look at each treat holder, they are all unique.

I used this combination of ink:
Charcoal (Versacraft, Tsukineko)
Sand (Versacraft, Tsukineko)
Chocolate (Brilliance, Tsukineko)
The sentiments for these treats come from the Primitive Pumkins set. They go so well with the Lollipop Treat set.
The steel grey buttons help hold everything together by stringing twine through all the holes in the cardstock. Cute little finishing touch too:)
You are going to want to see everyone's take on this challenge. Check out the MFT blog for the full list of designers and enjoy the inspiration!

Cute treat holders! Wonderful card! I like the dot theme ... stamped and die cut borders. Weaving the twine through the dots border looks great. :)
