Snap Shots a Creative Challenge

The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a mini-book. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have put their MFT stamps and/or Die-namics dies to work to create a mini book for you today!

I love to capture the "everyday" moments so this was the perfect opportunity to actually print some of these shots and make an album for them!

I started with a great album base...the "C'est La Vie Mini Album" by Melissa Frances. All I had to do was decorate it!

My full supply list is located at the BOTTOM of my post. I used a lot of My Favorite Things Die-namics and stamp sets to customize my album.

You have seen this "Behind the Camera" Die-namics and stamp set used A LOT by me....I just love it for all things with pictures and as you look through the pages I used a lot of sentiments from this set!
Here is precisely an "everyday" moment that I managed to capture...our dog Lucy is always trying to finish my latte cups....that is why she is my kind of dog :)

Take a really close look at the photo itself....I did a bit of a throw back to the polaroid photo days. I used my square STAX Die-namics and made these patterned paper polaroids to go OVER my photo.
One of those AWESOME sentiments from the "Behind the Camera" stamp set.
Grandma and Grandpa at our house for my son's birthday. I love this shot of them and now I have the perfect sentiment stamps to go with them :)
There were MANY of these everyday moments this year....I don't mind at all, my daughter plays beautifully!
Sometimes you just need to document a new car purchase....although it is not a "NEW" vehicle, it is new to us! Stamped with the fun "You Move Me" set and the little Die-namics from that set too!
Last but not least....a day out with my hubby to White Rock....he loves trains so this shot was just for him :)
All the journaling was done with my copic multiliner pen, boy am I glad I have a good selection of those handy....I use them WAY more than I ever thought I would. Hold on tight to them though...they have a tendency to grow legs...lol!

I know it has been quiet here on my blog....with more big projects vs. little every other day ones....August is the month that we do lots of holidaying. Come September....life will go back to my happy routine and I imagine my blog will too :)

Enjoy your day!
