Teaser TIme at My Favorite Things!

Happy New Year! I have a real cutie to share with you today! This is the new "Paper Doll" pure innocence image from My Favorite Things. Details for the release of this image are at the bottom of my post.  Matching her up with the darling Clementine collection from Cosmo Cricket. Don't you just love that new Die-namics paper doll border! Soooooo sweet!
I have colored this girl up with my copics and had my camera handy and took step by step photos.
Enjoy!
I chose my light source (upper right) and then used BV31 to color my shadow areas throughout my image.
 Base skin tone
 Mid-tone skin tone
I used E11 next as it is a smoother transition to my darkest skin shade  (E13).
My deepest shadows are with E13
I use both E01 and E50 to blend my skin tones.
The patterned  paper I chose made these two red shades a great match! I imagined the paper dolls were casting a shadow on her dress as well.
I blended my reds and then colored my paper dolls a solid black to match my die border in my card.
A little bit of a red head too!

Great card, Sherrie. I so appreciate your explaining how you colored this sweet image. I am still just learning how to color with Copics and don't yet have all the colors that I need (guess next will be skin tone), so I appreciate all the help I can get.
