Copic Tinted Glass
Isn't it fantastic when you can use a tool in your arsenal for more than one purpose.....enter glass tinting. These are clear ornaments from Melissa Frances that you can use anytime of year for decor. These ones I made just before Christmas. They were featured on the Melissa Frances Blog yesterday.
For the color tinting:
I used Modpodge with a few drops of Copic reinker mixed in (BG13 for the aqua and R43 for the peach) and then painted the modpodge on the surface of the ornament with a paintbrush and then let dry.....very easy and it gives a pretty frosted look. I also think it adds to the "vintage" of the glass.
Finished off with a few other Melissa Frances goodies on the insides these would make great occasional gifts!

These are awesome.
Hi Sherrie,
I love the whole look of these beautiful glass creations! Would you be willing to do a tutorial on how you created them...it looks like you used some kind of filling to sit the bird on?
Thanks for sharing.
