Little Lamb

I am LOVING the little lamb series in the Pure Innocence collection from MFT. This one goes straight to my heart as Jesus is often described as the "Lamb of God", so how fitting it is that a little lamb is in a manger.

First off I wanted to show you this close shot of the lambs' clothing. I fabric pieced it from some white sticky back canvas and colored it with my copic markers. Peeled the canvas off its' sticky backing and adhered it to my stamped image. I love this touch and feel texture it adds to my card.

You can also see in this close up shot the "spotty" copic coloring I did for the lambs. I used E40,42.43 and R20.

I didn't want to go with colorful patterned paper as I wanted to keep it muted like the image...so I pulled out some music paper from the Melissa Frances "Deck the Halls" collection.

A little peek at the inside too. I stamped just the manger and the DARLING sentiment that comes with this set. Just added a little bit of color with my pencils.
