New VIP Product Tour

Were you expecting to see a new "Who's that Girl?" for the VIP this month.......NOPE! Things are switched up this month for fun and it is a couple of the winter Pure Innocence cuties that are in the kit this month....BONUS!

I had fun doing a vintage spin on this Holly Girl. Look at this precious oval die-namic that is also in the kit...perfect for all your little pure innocence characters. I combined her with Melissa Frances patterned papers and accessories.

You know I colored her up with my copics I envisioned her standing in a dimly lit room up against a wall. Her shadow on the wall mimics her shape. I tried something new with her in coloring....a tip I picked up from a sweet girl (MarkerGuru) in one of my intermediate classes that I thought I would try out.

Take a look at the photo below. I laid in some base shadows using BV20 to give the cool undertone to the shadows. I quite liked the results and it gave me the opportunity to think out all my shadows before coloring.
When you look at my finished product it is not like you see "purple in her skin" but rather a natural cooling of color as I go into shadow.

So here is a look at what is in this month's VIP kit....can you say CUTENESS!
Pure Innocence Winter Cuties VIP Collection $37.95
Pure Innocence Ice Princess stamp set
Pure Innocence Holly Girl stamp set
Winter Cuties Sentiments mini (VIP exclusive stamp set - will never be offered for sale or be available again $9 value, FREE)
Oval Open Scallop Doily Die-namics Die

Make sure to see the complete list of designer samples over on the MFT blog! Enjoy the mid-month release!
