Rolling along on "hump Wednesday". I received some fantastic mail from one of my good friends in the industry.....Kim Hughes! If you have been under a rock and don't know that she has started creating stamps again you will want to check out her designs at her new shop called "Paper Smooches"! What an adorable name, it fits Kim so well!This is a new set that was just released March 1st called "Spiffy Scooters". I love Kim's line art as her stamps have a bit of a thicker line which make them so easy to paper piece (as I did here) and so forgiving to color!
I paper pieced my spiffy scooter with some of the new paper from Cosmo Cricket called "Upcycle". Love this collection! I used my copics to color in the tires quickly and sewed around the edges with some pink thread for fun!
I am so happy Kim is back in the stamp illustration business again, go and check her out!
