Yeah it's Friday! The weather is beautiful here....perfect for fruit...and CHOCOLATE! I will have to indulge through my card as I am watching my waistline....
The inspiration....THE awesome strawberry paper from the "Garden Variety" collection from Cosmo Cricket.
I pulled out an oldie but goodie stamp set. It is Taylored Expressions "Berries and Cherries" set. That little basket of strawberries was really fun to color with my copics. I also stamped the berries on the twill tape and colored them with my copics.
I airbrushed the main image with the YR31 and E49 markers...I love how precise I could get even with a dark colored marker like E49.
That smudge on the ribbon....totally UNintentional....LOL! But it added to the character of the card so I left it. If it was really chocolate and not liquid applique I would have licked my fingers and the smudge wouldn't happen....oh well:)
Here is a really close shot.....yummmo! I used YR31,R35, R39 for my berries and YG13, YG17 for the stems.
Here is the sketch so you can play along in TAYLOR'S challenge.
Don't forget to see what the rest of the sketch crew came up with:
