Pretty Pins

Flowers are always perfect for Mother's day....so I decided to make my own pretty pin out of tea dyed twill tape.
Fabric Tac is my friend! I used this fabric glue to turn the strips of ribbon into flower petals. I have seen this done with actual fabric so I thought I would try it out with ribbon.

My background is a very simple stampy background....I used a couple of the scrapblock stamps from Cornish Heritage Farms and then a sentiment from the "Mother's Day centers" of the Mona Lisa Line at CHF.
So this darling pin is removable and would go great to dress up a plain tank top or tote bag.
The black ribbon was actually black with white polka dots....I just took my Black 110 copic marker and colored the white dots so that they added texture to my card and not color.

Here are all my card deets:
Stamps:
Tulle Damask, Vintage Text (Scrapblocks) Mother's Day Centers (MLM) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Aqua, Black Versacraft (Tsukineko)
Old Paper Distress (Ranger)
Paper:
Natural (Neenah)
Accessories:
Copic Markers
Twill Tape
Ribbon (Offray)

Have a wonderful day! The sun is shining here.....YEAH!
