Fred Bear Teaser Day!

Look at a new character that is hitting MFT! It is Fred Bear in Flight!....I love cute animals and I can see this new line of bears being used a lot by me!
I went with the aviator theme of the image and used the "Lil' Man" collection from Cosmo Cricket to go with him. I followed the lines in the patterned paper to create little mountains and then turned the square spellbinder die on an angle to fit my image and add to the mountain range.
I even decorated the inside with some pieces from the paper collection and one of the adorable sentiments that comes with this set.
Here is a close up of the coloring I did with copic markers. I colored his fur parts first and then misted an old towel with blender solution and dabbed to give Fred some bear fur. You can see how that technique is done in a video here.
The list of colors that I used to color Fred....the ciaos in the picture are E43 and E47 and the BG10 is my own special mix of blender and BG10....
Enjoy all the teasers today, just go to Kim's blog for the full list of designers giving peeks!
