Taking a break from Christmas today and sharing in some cupcake goodness with you...as well as some blog treats...keep scrolling!
How fun are these little felt cupcake goodies! I have them hanging from the coat hooks in my main entry and they look so sweet. SUPER easy to make.....
I used the largest petite scallop nestie die from spellbinders and cut the felt for the tops in my cuttlebug. I also wanted to add the softness of pattern and color to the felt so I chose a few of my favorite copics and colored directly to the rubber of a couple of my favorite scrapblocks (in this case the stitches scrapblock). I then misted my colored scrapblock with blender solution and stamped directly to my felt...LOVED the results!
I folded the circle in half and stitched around the top catching a ribbon in my stitching for it to hang from.
The bottom of the cupcake I just cut out free hand and stitched it to the top, this left a little lip that I added some glue and glitter to...just for fun!
Embellished with a cute button and tag.
This one I used the large polkadot backgrounder. I just love that I now have fun things to dangle in the summer not just at Christmas time. You gotta try these they are so simple and fun to make...they would make great decor for a cupcake theme party!
On to the "candy"....I have some lovely goodies to pass onto my readers. I truly appreciate you coming by and leaving comments here and there...you really make my day! So here are some treats that I will mail out to one lucky winner. A fabulous addition of CARDS magazine (I've got two designs in this one!), two background stamps from CHF, some fun embellishing items too! All you need to do is leave a comment and I'll announce a winner monday morning!
Have a great weekend!

The cupcakes are so cute! I had looked at your snowman card yesterday and was assuming that the set would be announced in the CHF email today. Well it was but I cannot find it at the website and unfortunately no link was provided. I love the card that you mmade with the snowman (being a snowman collector!!).
That is sooooo cute! I have not tried my dies for felt yet. I know they cut many things, but so far I have only used card stock. Very, very cute...I am going to try that!

Hi Sherrie- It's been sooooo long since I've done anything card making related. No forums, no blogs, no playing in my craft room. Yours was one of the the first I've visited. Maybe I'll be the lucky winner for new supplies too! Thanks for the chance
LOVE the cupcakes - especially the polka dots! I really like all your cards AND projects with fabric and felt. It is a great way to make double use of stamps and we all seem to end up with scraps of felt and fabric even if we're not seamstresses. Thanks for the chance to win!
