Sailing

I wanted to get a card into today's post BEFORE I go to the dentist. I'm not sure how I will feel afterwards. Feeling pretty good right now as my dentist prescribed a "happy pill" for me to take before I go. As a person who rarely takes over the counter medication....I feel a little like I'm "SAILING" right now....

I finally can give you all a sneak peek of a new line coming to Cornish Heritage Farms! Woohoo! The stamp line is by Sara England and I have enjoyed coloring the ones that I have! This card is just FULL of copic goodness. I airbrushed the sky, then stamped my image, masked off just the boat portion of the image and airbrushed the water. I love this airbrushing look...notice the intentional light space by the boat. I loved it that my water didn't look "solid".
I colored my image with my copics......I saw some really neat old boats when I was in Italy, a lot of them had paint peeling off and you could see the previous boat color underneath...this is what I tried to achieve with my boat.

Ahhhh, the sail....my favorite part of this card. I stamped my image on Claudine Hellmuths sticky back canvas, airbrushed it a bit and cut it out. I then simply pasted it over my image on my card...if you look close you can still see the hint of the water and horizon through the sail....COOL!

Now that I have you as excited as I am about this new line....it is being released June 24th! That's next week! Watch for more from me in this line.

OK, now going (kicking and screaming) to the dentist. Wishing you a great day!

Hang in there girl! This dentist trip is worth it to eat all the cold things we like during the summer!
I'll even make sure I have more cold watermelon next time you come over!!! :) No microwaved fruit any more!
