Hooked on you....
I just love this new sentiment that is coming in Kim Hughes' "Go Fish" set this week. I thought I would use it in this repurposing project. This old kitchen hook needed a new look and I loved the little play on words with the "hook" idea.
This is very quick to make and adds such a "cute" factor to the kitchen.
The yummy patterned paper and chipboard is Cosmo Cricket's EARLY BIRD collection. LOVE the fresh vintage flavor it brings!
I colored up the little pot holder image from Kim Hughes' "Baked with Love" set....since it will be holding a pot holder. I colored it with copics and dotted it with my blender pen.
I also wanted to give this plaque the aged treatment. I sprayed E50 and Y21 on the edges with my airbrush system. Fast, permanent and easy!
Here are all my project details:

How stinking cute this is!!! Great idea to use the airbrush to distress the edges! I am going to try that!
