Beautiful U!

I always find joy in combining my crafts...so this project fuses simple crochet, stamping and jewelery soldering. It does make a pretty little choker for those little black t-shirts I love to dress up.
Here is a close up of the soldered piece. The stamp is from the new set "Ornamental Beauty" over at Cornish Heritage Farms.
I colored the flowers with my copics, adding the shimmer factor with the colored spica glitter pens.
To soften the white and bring in a yellow color I airbrushed the edges and left the center more white to highlight.

Here is the full necklace photo taken in my studio. A simple button holds the back together and the flower/soldered charm is held by a brad. I stitched a few thread stitches to the back side to make sure my center piece was secure.

It is a BEAUTIFUL weekend here...hope it is for you too!

i love your little flowers. i just started knitting and would LOVE to learn how to make some knitted or crochet'd flowers. they're perfect!!

have you tried felting them yet? if not, just pop them in your washer on hot (in a pillowcase), and then take them out and let them dry. You do have to make them a bit bigger, but they felt sooooo awesome. i just finished my first felted bag!

your work is wonderful. thank you for sharing.
