Look!....I can follow a sketch...lol! Pretty close anyway!
One of my favorite images from Kim Hughes' "Ocean Friends" set is this little jellyfish. I wanted to make them male and female with my colors.
Little tip: This is one single jellyfish stamp, to make them look not quite identical I stamped one without the little mouth and drew it in on the opposite side with my black multiliner pen. Love that I can add to an image with these pens and still color with my copics!
I used this totally fun paper from My Mind's Eye that I got from the lovely duo at Eclectic Paperie (Joy and Daisy). Thanks girls!
One final little touch...I stamped the heart shape around the two jelly lovers. I also strung embroidery floss through my button to look like dangling tentacles.
Here is the sketch so you can play along in TAYLOR'S challenge.
Don't forget to see what the rest of the cupcake crew came up with:
Stephanie Hargis: Steph's Stampin' Stuff
Vicki Chrisman: This Art that makes me Happy
Jami Sibley: More is More
Monika Davis: M.A.D. Stamper
Donna Baker: Serenity in Stamping
Jackie Pedro: The Scalloped Edge
Ana Wohlfahrt: Ink A Stamp
Lynn Mercurio: Stamperosity
The cupcake sampler this week is Sandra MacLean. You can find her beautiful work HERE.
Have a wonderful weekend!
