Seeing that today is Good Friday, I thought it fitting to do a Kinkade card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge. I love this image of this church from the "Streams of Living Water" stamp. It is only a section of this stamp, but the piece I wanted to highlight.
This is a very "copic" card as I used my markers to first color my image, then airbrushed the sky portion (to get it soft and even). I then airbrushed my white lace with Y21 and then airbrushed the white prima flower I had. Why stop there....I also airbrushed my pearl to match.
I used the airbrush gun up again my gold spica glitter pen to color the inside of my flower as well. Basically I had a blissful time just colorin'!
If you click on this photo you can see it really close up.
This is a short post for me today, as there are lots of family gatherings this weekend, and a lot to do.....
Here is the sketch so you can play along in TAYLOR'S challenge.
Don't forget to see what the rest of the cupcake crew came up with:
Stephanie Hargis: Steph's Stampin' Stuff
Vicki Chrisman: This Art that makes me Happy
Jami Sibley: More is More
Monika Davis: M.A.D. Stamper
Donna Baker: Serenity in Stamping
Jackie Pedro: The Scalloped Edge
Lynn Mercurio: Stamperosity
The cupcake sampler this week is Joan Ervin, you can find her beautiful work HERE!
Wishing all of you a very blessed Easter.
Have a wonderful weekend!
