ATC Beauty

What fun to play along with Kim Hughes' challenge today on SCS. She challenged us to create ATC cards. These little works of art are on a small 2.5"x3.5" canvas. I found that creating in this size it is ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS.
So here is a close shot of some of the "details".
My flower is doubled, this way I could roll up the top flower to give dimension. I stitched on my sentiment which was stamped with the aged sheet music scrapblock in red and the tiny sentiment with the sassy petites from Cornish Heritage Farms. I topped off the sentiment using the red tiny twinks from Taylored Expressions.

Here is a full view shot. I started with kraft paper. Stamped my sheet music in latte ink. Stamped the piano girl in black. I then laid Tim Holtzs' flourish mask and sponged in vintage photo distress ink. To give a washed color to the girls' dress I swiped some R17 on a transparency and then used my waterbrush (filled with copic blender) to pick up the color and wipe it on. I used the red spica pen for the bows in her hair.
Sponged the edges and added a black rub-on to the base....phew, lots of technique stuffed in a tiny package. I think this will make a great gift tag for my daughter. She is taking her grade 7 piano exam this year.....she is my little baroque princess.....

Have a great day!
