Oh I am in vintage heaven! Do you see the new scrapblock that is coming to CHF next week (Dec 2nd)?! It is called "Tulle Damask" and it is so pretty! Looks like that old felt wallpaper that was done in high end homes years ago...
I paired it up with the Saturday Evening Post vintage butterflies for today's color challenge on SCS.
I used my labels die and cut right out of my damask layer to reveal a little of that rust color from my background.
I airbrushed the nature grungeboard with my copic marker (E08) to give a very subtle even color to the flowers. I also used that same color marker for the butterfly.
I used a transparency and rubbed the E08 on the plastic then picked up the color with my blender pen and swiped it on the butterfly. I just wanted hints of the rust color as I didn't want to overwhelm the look I was going for.
