Butterflies

Yes, the butterflies are coming this week to Cornish! Love them! I found some neat little details when creating this card.

I used my cuttlebug and new butterfly spellbinder dies and cut them out of CHF's clear sheets. First off something you should know about the clear sheets, they are nice and thick...so don't freak out when it sounds like crackling when you are running it through your bug. Secondly, you can emboss these clear sheets!

I stamped them in cranberry pigment ink and then embossed them with holographic embossing powder, they really shimmer.

A little tip....
To get your butterflies to stand, flex them between your fingers and add a little heat with your heat gun, this should soften the butterfly (careful not to burn your fingers...ask me how I know), give it a couple seconds to cool and it will stay in the bend position.
These new vintage butterflies fit GREAT into the butterfly nesties....woohoo!

Here is a close up of these clear fluttering beauties...and the stamping details:
Stamps:
Vintage Butterflies (SEP), Fiery Floral (Scrapblocks) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Beige Pearlescent (Brilliance)
Cranberry Pigment Ink (Ranger)
Paper:
Rose Red Dark, Natural Smooth (Prism)
Clear Sheets (CHF)
Accessories:
Holographic Embossing Powder
Sheer Ribbon
Sewing Machine
Butterfly Die (Spellbinders)

I have more to show you before the release of these butterflies on Friday so stay tuned....
Happy Monday! I am with Marianne today helping with a certification class...how fun!
