Teacher appreciation cards...you can never have too many! I am off to a Thanksgiving concert today at my son's school. Yes, concerts in full swing already! Where did the summer go?
This was for today's sketch challenge on SCS. I loved the little narrow panel at the bottom of the sketch and it was the perfect size for coloring these fun trees. I matched my image up with the fun patterned paper and then colored the image with the matching copics.
The reds I used R24, R29
The greens I used G11, G17
The orange I used YR20, YR23 and then I drew some shadow with my W-1
Here is a close shot so that you can see the shading as well as using the orange spica glitter pen from Copic. A little sparkle is always a good thing!
Here are my card details:
Stamps:
Making the Grade (Kim Hughes Collection) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Rich Cocoa Memento Dye Ink (Tsukineko)

Off to get ready for that Thanksgiving concert...my son looked so smart in his black dress pants and white shirt.
***Funny story*** I totally thought he could wear his concert pants that he had, he wore them in the summer for piano festivals.....well he had grown out of them. We discovered this at around 9pm last night and the concert is today......THANK goodness for Walmart being open til 10pm! Whew!
