Scene it!

No, not the popular board game.....the new stamp line at CHF! This week is a whopper at CHF for releases. The lines.....Friendly Kritters, Mona Lisa Moments and the new Scene it sets are all being released this week!
You may recognize this image. CHF has many beautiful individual "scene" images that now have been cleverly pieced together, some resizing and gorgeous sentiments to go into a complete set! For example the birds, lighthouse, compass and sentiment are all separate pieces in this set. This makes it so easy to do the precise layout you want. This set is called "Beacon of Hope" and also has some sailboats, which I still want to ink up this week.

On to this card, I had my ambrosia paper sitting on my desk so I thought some subtle color would be just the look I was going for. I colored my image with my aquapainter and watercolor paints.

Here you can see a close shot of the image. I loved adding my sentiment to a piece of chipboard. The chipboard was raw (so it was already gray) and all I did was take my white paint dauber and give it a swipe and added my sentiment.

Here are the complete card deets:
Stamps:
Beacon of Hope (Scene it) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Black Archival ink (Ranger)
Paper:
Watercolor paper
Black (Prism)
Ambrosia Patterned Paper (Basic Grey)
Accessories:
Aquapainter (ninji)
Watercolor Paints (Sakura)
Oval Die Cuts (Spellbinders)
Chipboard (Basic Grey)
Sewing Machine

Watch for this launch of the "Scene it" line on Friday THIS WEEK!
Happy Monday!
