It is Thomas Kinkade Release Day at Cornish Heritage Farms.....This new image is called "Clocktower Cottage". On the label of this stamp is actually colors that are more spring but I decided to use the maple tree outside my front window to inspire me to a fall theme.
This was all colored using copic markers....The tree especially was a delight to color. I started with a basic yellow on the tree and then dabbed in some oranges and reds then smoothed out the color with my yellow marker again.
Another little trick. When you are all done coloring I love to take my versamark pad and sponge the whole surface of my image and then coat it with Ultra Thick Embossing Powder (UTEE). I do a couple coats to get that really thick look, it helps smooth out the color but it also makes it look like you are gazing at the image through a window...or water....it is really cool.
For finishing touches I took some blackboard and painted it up to go with my fall theme and scuffed up the edges of my patterned paper with paint to tie it all together.
A close shot so you can see all the wonderful detail in this stamp...
