It is cupcake challenge time again! I have something sweet for you today. It isn't a cupcake but who wouldn't want to lick this yummy sucker! I had to show you a close up of this shimmery sucker from the "sweet thang" set by CHF. I applied glaze accents (Ranger) on the red portion then dusted it with Barbara Trombleys' art glitter. This is so cute and the penguins' eyeshadow matches her sucker. Here are the details to this card:
Christmas Critters, Sweet Thang (Kim Hughes Collection by Cornish Heritage Farms
Pitch Black, Watermelon Adirondack Dye ink (Ranger)
Spring Moss Light and Dark, Simply Smooth White, Black (Prism)
Urban Lily Patterned Paper
Circle Dies (Spellbinders)
Art Glitter (Barbara Trombley)
Glaze Accents (Ranger)
Here is the finished card. I did do some "out of the box" cutting on the main image and paper pieced the center part of the penguin. I stamped the penguin on both the green and white cardstock then cut the center of the white cardstock image and pieced it on top of my green stamped image. I colored it with copics. Yummmm, I could use some sugar right now!
Here is the sketch so you can play along in TAYLOR'S challenge.
