Sneaks and some camping pics!

I have my hands on the first Saturday Evening Post image! Woohoo!!!! The detail on this image is incredible! I love stamps that have the option on whether they can be colored or not and this is one of them. I am showing it in the non colored version (except for the twig of holly in Santa's hat).
I think we all must have that nostalgic memory of sitting on Santa's knee, I love the look of wonder in this boy's face and the warm joy in Santa's face.

Here are the details:
Stamps:
Santa's Lap (Saturday Evening Post) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Aged Sheet Music (Scrapblocks) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Sentiment (Thomas Kinkade) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Coffee Bean, Beige, Olive (Brilliance)
Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Ranger)
Paper:
Natural Smooth, Kraft (Prism)
Accessories:
Ribbon, Buttons (Making Memories)
Flower (Prima)
Edge Distressing Tool (Making Memories)
Circle Die (Spellbinders)
Sewing Machine
Copic Markers

Here is the full card....did you know that this is actually TWO sneaks? Yup, that is a new ScrapblockTM that you see as my background. This card is 5.25" square and I LOVE having the coverage of a ScrapblockTM (being that they are 6" square in size)! Aged music, isn't that just perfect for Christmas time. I was humming "have yourself a merry little Christmas" the whole time while making this card.
The Dates for release you ask????

The ScrapblockTM is released Tuesday (the 5th) and the Santa's Lap image is on Friday (the 8th)! You will be able to find them HERE.

If you are interested in seeing some family photos from last week camping, here they are....
My family....I love them so much!
The kids had so much fun feeding the multitude of gophers in Manning Park. This is a regular family pit stop on the way to the Okanagon.
Home sweet home for one week. Actually our site was very pretty and private. We had neighbors on either side but none in behind or in front of us. It took a little adjustment sleeping in a tent though, all the sounds of the outdoors. I sent Mike out regularly to check for possible bears when I heard rustling by the tent.
Gorgeous landscape, the picture says it all!
Very fun times at the beach and a fun action shot of Mike catching the football.
This is how I liked to spend my time on the water, just floating and enjoying the sun!
Some of the best times were right at our campsite just sitting and visiting with each other....no TV, ipods, computer, nintendo....it was a nice change of pace.
I must say though....my bed felt WONDERFUL last night!

Awww...I'm so glad you had such a nice trip, Sherrie!! (And bravo to you for sleeping in a tent. I don't think I could sleep in one in my own back yard.) Such great pics!! I love your card too...the distressing is perfect!
