Holiday Cheer

This is a really fun stamp set if you want to try some paper piecing. I love the heavy lines of the Kim Hughes stamps especially for paper piecing. You have a little "play" with your cutting. I find if the lines are too thin you have to be SUPER careful with your cutting (not my strength). I also wanted to stitch on my paper pieces.....
Here is a close shot of my stitching. I used a zig zag stitch and shortened the stitch length. I love the straight lines of these trees which also helped me with my stitching, no curves, nice and easy.
Here are the card deets:
Stamps:
Heart Warmer (Kim Hughes Collection) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Espresso (Adirondack)
Versamark
Paper:
Be Good DP (Cosmo Cricket)
Accessories:
Vanilla Embossing powder
Flower (Prima)
Button (Making Memories)
Twine
Sewing Machine
Corner Rounder (Marvy)

Come by tomorrow for a sneak peek from the Rummage Bin!

This is really pretty! I looked for CHF at CHA and couldn't for the life of me find it! I wanted to see the Thomas trains. (Guess it would have helped if I had had a map!)
