Strawberries anyone?
Yum, this is my inspiration photo from a Martha Stewart magazine for this weeks' challenge chicks. I also was inspired by the colors, a great springboard for my card.
This is using a couple of stamp sets. The wonderful strawberry is from Kim Hughes' Hugs & Kisses set. I did the pin dot scrapblock for the backgrounds, they match the dotting in the strawberry. I also threw in some dotted ribbon (which is actually white dots) that I colored with my copics to match.
Stamps:
Hugs & Kisses (Kim Hughes) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Pin Dot (Scrapblocks) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Watermelon, Espresso, Pool (Adirondack)
Paper:
Natural Smooth, Iced Teal Medium, Suede Brown Dark (Prism)
Accessories:
Copic Markers
Slit Punch (EK Success)
Small and Medium Corner Rounder (Marvy)
Clear Accents (Making Memories)
Buttons (Autumn Leaves)
Ribbon (Making Memories)
Here is a close shot of my center detail. I picked up these CUTE clear accents when I was in Seattle for Copic Certification. I love the extra glitter that it brings to my card.
Here are the other challenge chicks playing along:
Julia, Val, Dawn, Kristine, Lesley!
