CHF Challenge Chicks

We are at it again. I have some very FUN stuff to show you! The challenge.....STAZON! This is a highly versatile ink (which I will show you) not only very useful when water coloring on a card but for altering items too! It is the product spotlight this week at Cornish Heritage Farms....so if you are pickin' up some stamps don't forget to check out the Stazon.

You know I am totally gonna wear this and it was very easy to create! I bought a package of Tim Holtz Fragments and thought they would make fun bracelet links! I went to my local bead shop and picked up these "ribbon clasps" and used a little of my glossy accents to adhere them to my fragments.

Here is a close up of the pendant. Step one, use your alcohol inks, yes those inks you hardly use, and pick your favorite colors and dab them on the fragment. I used the Tim Holtz applicator to do this. Then I stamped the pretty pattern background with white stazon to the backside of my fragment piece. I then used my black stazon and stamped my favorite image (birds of coarse!) on the front of the fragment....I am so pleased with the results! Here are the project deets:
Stamps:
Pretty Birds (Kim Hughes) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Pretty Pattern background by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
White, Black (Stazon)
Stream, Lettuce Alcohol Inks
Accessories:
Fragments (Tim Holtz)
Brackets, jump rings, Clasp from the bead shop

Here is another very QUICK, fun project. I found this little mirror wind chime at my local dollar store. Yes, a buck! I stamped it with the white and blue stazon pads. I love the blue! This is going to dangle outside my daughters window. You could also personalize one of these and they would make a fabulous "tween" birthday gift for a party!

A little close up fun with this mirror. I wanted to show you how fabulous the blue looks! I will be adding pink and yellow to my shopping list too!
