I am so excited because today I get to show you one of the new "Friendly Kritters" that is being released next week (April 22)! These are the beach turtles from Cornish Heritage Farms. Now this is how I would like to spend my summer. Me on the chair and my kids playing in the water. I am really enjoying the detail in the friendly kritter stamps. I still had my sewing machine sitting out so I did a very tight stitch around the image and a loose one for the background. I used copic markers to color and the air brush system to create the sky.
I cropped a really close photo of one of the turtles. I wanted to show you how wonderful the shading on the stamps are. Where there are closer "dots" in the image is where I apply extra shading with the markers. I love it when the stamp guides you where there are light and dark spots.
Here are the card deets:
Stamps:
Beached Turtles, Friendship sentiment, Large Polkadot background (Cornish Heritage Farms)
Ink:
Espresso, Aqua (Adirondack)
Paper:
Simply Smooth White, Suede Brown Dark (prism)
Accessories:
Velvet flower (maya road), Velvet brad (making memories), Copic markers, air brush system (copic), Stitching

EXCELLENT card!! I love the image and the coloring. Your color choices are wonderful also. I hope you get some time at the beach! Enjoy it for me because I am landlocked, LOL. That's hard after living on the East coast most of my life. Have a beautiful weekend. TFS.
