Anyway, the plaque paired up with the pewter brad were perfect for this challenge. I am on the west coast so I am doing some late night stamping for this challenge (very unusual for me).
My thoughts were to pair up something old with something new. A new technique (to me) is to create frames using faux ribbon stamps and a sheet of acetate. Maybe I will show a little tutorial tomorrow on how to do this, but as a quilter I LOVED the mitered frame to fit snuggly around my plaque.
Another new item.....the beautiful Nature Silhouettes by Cornish Heritage Farms. They are being released April 3rd along with the Baked Love set by Kim Hughes. I think this is my favorite silhouette set yet! Yes, I bought the other silhouettes even before I was asked on the CHF team just because.....well....I buy what I love!
Anyway, enough babble for tonight.....
Here are the card deets:

Nature Silhouettes by Cornish Heritage Farms

Lovely card Sherrie! Your pewter frame was put to good use! Deb
Gorgeous card and the colours are perfect. Would love to see a tutorial on the faux ribbon stamps.
What a pretty card, and I must say I have that same plaque and it sits in the drawer for probably the same reason... I must pull it out and use it! Can't wait to see the tutorial!
This is just beautiful, Sherrie. I have a bunch of those Making Memories things, too (among other things). . . beautifully showcased.
I am the same way, I wait to use something for that perfect card and I never end of using them, Love the frame you did around it, look forward to the how to's. Very pretty stamping!
Gorgeous! So why do we do that?? LOL! I do the same thing...buy something I love and then have a hard time using it because if I do then it's gone. :)
Wow! I just love this one! The colors are just gorgeous!!!
I also have some of those same embellishments- just never quite know what to do with them. thanks for the inspiration.
