Flight Path

Do you recognize the Peter Pan song? Hopefully you will be humming it all day! I combined quite a few stamp sets today for this card. The bird is from the "bird lovers" set by Crafty Secrets. The "fly" sentiment is alphabet letters from Crafty Secrets. The beautiful dandylion flowers are from Cornish Heritage Farms. The backgrounder canvas stamp is a SU backgrounder. I colored the bird with my copics, but my FAVORITE feature of this card is.....
the type! Now you probably don't know, but my brother is teaching my Adobe Illustrator! Wow! What a program. I jumped into this program today because of Julia's challenge on SCS (way's to use it) is computers! What a perfect shove to get me to try and apply the few things I've learned. I drew the path on the computer (using a very tricky pen tool) then had my text follow my path. Kinda cool! Some of the words got a little squished but for a first attempt, I am pleased.

So enjoy the little Peter Pan tune today!
Happy Stamping!

Stunning card! Your coloring is fabulous, and the flowers set such a beautiful scene. I sure love the idea of working with text, oooooh!
I've wanted to use text in a certain way with the colors I'm using but that doesn't work out with the Microsoft Word Art. TFS.
