Staples

Yes, today we were challenged to use staples! Hmmmmm. I certainly didn't want my card to look like I just pasted staples on to suit the challenge, I wanted to incorporate them. So here is my rustic fence. I used the CHF woodgrain backgrounder to create my posts then I stapled wire to them. I watercolored my horse and background with my paints. The horse and sentiment are from the large stamp set called "punny farm" from My Favorite Things. I just love this set and the variety and quantity of animals and sentiments that it includes.
I finished off this card with some twine wrapped around the post then into a lasso shape with one last staple. It was fun to make!

No puppies yet. We are on day 64, I'm guessing it will happen on Super Bowl Sunday. For Lucy's sake I hope she has them sooner....we women know, the longer they are in there, the bigger they get! Ack!

Happy Stamping!

see...?! you could have made it to vb afterall!!

we missed you. Simpson & Simpson played with 5, were missing their setters and 2 of the 5 players they had were pregnant. so even without you, we beat them but it sure would have been embarrassing if we hadn't!!
