Happy Monday Morning everyone! Yes, blog candy time, here on Card Creme! I passed the milestone of 100,000 hits and thought it was due time to celebrate a little. Good Luck! I will draw a name from the list Thursday Jan 17th at 9am PST.
Now the card. This was for todays' "Try a new Technique" challenge. I had no idea what I was going to do when I sat down, just grabbed some white paper and my BOHO BLOSSOMS stamps and started playing. I stamped my boho hearts in red craft ink then embossed with clear detail powder. I brayered on some metallic brilliance ink and some pink distress ink and then sponged edges with vintage photo distress ink. The heart I just cut out and layered it with red, then stitched it to my card. The little pocket was mad with my nestabilities and then embossed in the swirl folder. Stitched it on and added some ribbon tied flowers and a charm.Tah Dah! Done!

Congratulations on 100,000 hits. That is incredible. I love all your cards and projects. What I always struggle with is sizing of the different layers of paper. Is there any trick to that - do you just eyeball it or is there some trick to what size to cut background papers when you are layering several of different sizes. I would love to see a tutorial on any tricks you have to make your card look "balanced". Thanks!!!!
