More Build a Bouquet...

Yes, you can do a flower card with the Build a bouquet set! I like to find unique uses for sets that are not so typical, but sometimes it's nice to create a card with the stamps the way they were intended to be used. So that is this card. I picked up some yummy dp from my LSS called Hey Sugar by Cosmo Cricket. Love it! I drew out a grid with a pencil first before stamping my circles then stamped in the colors that matched my dp. Yes, I used my copics. In the neatest places! I colored my babbles to match (you've seen me show this to you before) I also colored my sheer maya road flower. But what I was most proud of was the coordinating coloring of the polka dots on my brown ribbon....I think that added a cotton candy sweet feel to the card.

So yes, you can do flowers with this wonderful flower set!
I flipped the flower vase upside down to create this lamp. I thought it made another simple versatile use for this wonderful set! The DP is Cosmo Cricket "Dutch Girl". You see the little sentiment? This is one of the wonderful sentiments in the newly released "essential sentiments" set, other sentiments like "cool beans" "hey sexy" "thanks" are all part of this set! All the sentiments fit in SU word window punch. You can see I punched through my cardstock and then stamped the sentiment to my base. By doing this I could also wrap a ribbon.

Here is a close up of the lamp. I set it off on two pop dots so that you would see the shadow of the shade really well! A cute little jewel at the end of the pull chain. I also went over the edges of the circles with my markers for added shading.

Well if you haven't had the opportunity to check out these sets....let me enable you. Here is the link to MY FAVORITE THINGS!

Happy Stamping!

I LOVE you ribbon colored with your copics! I had colored SOLID ribbon with copic's to make stripes but never thought to do the white dots! I am so all over that. I saw your card and that was my first though! Where did she get that ribbon! LOL!
Love it.
