Good Friends, Good Times

This is for today's "ways to use it" challenge on SCS. We are to stop hoarding our decorative brads and use them! Yes, this is tough for me sometimes, I love these Amy Butler brads that I have. I pulled out a set that I just love to use with Amy Butler Paper. This is "meet me at the cafe" by My Favorite Things! I just love this image, and it is so fun to color.

Copic tip:
Something that I am trying that has nice results is to use two shades of the same color and have the caps off both markers. I outline a broad line in my darkest shade, then take my light shade and touch the nib of the dark shade to transfer some color, then I blend in the dark line on my paper....make sense? Don't worry, you won't forever discolor your nibs, just stroke your light marker on some scratch paper to make sure all the dark shade is off. I find this helps create more of a watercolor look to the coloring rather than such a solid marker...YKWIM?

Well, I'm plastered to the couch today, seem to have picked up a stomach bug. So I am brief.

Happy Stamping!
