Home for the Holidays

Sneek Peek #2....isn't this fun! This is a small look at the wonderful "home for the holidays" set from My Favorite Things due to be released August 1st. This one I actually used the teacher from yesterday's set to have her hang an ornament on the tree (gotta love clear stamps!) I colored the image with copics and used my Coluzzle to cut out the star for my sentiment. I sewed around my oval and topped off with some yummy red velvet ribbon. The DP is basic grey.
This one I was going for a bit different look. The wreath on the door is stamped with the small pine bow from this set. I used my Coluzzle to cut the rectangle for the door. Little micro brads are the hinges and a large brad for the door knob.

When you open up the door you see a warm fireplace, something that reminds me of the holidays. All the little pieces to this fireplace are in the set. It really allows me to be creative and do whatever scene strikes me.
Make sure you pop by tomorrow when I show you what I have done with "Let's here it for the boys". Enjoy your day!
