Art in Nature

There is such beauty in God's creation. I love the large color palette we have to play with. The inspiration for this card came from the "perhaps" Basic Grey paper. I tried to mirror the feel of that paper with my Martha Stewart bird stamp and a smattering of other stamps. I used some hero arts flowers, papertrey images, amuse scallop circle along with plenty of ink and shading. I used my prismacolor crayons with blending solution to color the bird, leaves and berries. The ribbon is anchored with the SU slit punch and an oversized brad. Topped off with glaze and some primas and voila! I am quite pleased with the end result. Thanks for stopping by to look, enjoy a stampin' day!

This is really pretty. I love the way you anchored the ribbon with the slit punch. I'll have to remember that trick!
