Playin'

Today I had a chance to 'play', I just love those days! I really love the vine look some of my new stamps have from Fancy pants. In "beauty" I went back to my birds (of coarse) they are by Cavallini. Chickadee's have been building a nest outside our front steps and I have watched them make numerous trips back and forth with debris for their nest. I cut up my hemp and glued it to the nest and added a twig for the birds' mouth. I put some glaze on the bird and her eggs (sorry it caught the reflection of the camera). The little flowers and the scrolls and vines are all by Fancy Pants.

The "sweet pea" card followed the same them with the vines but I wanted to create a monochromatic look. I did some masking so that the pea pods (by Papertrey) were in the foreground. I added a little prima and white snaps in the corners and on the flower. Can you tell I'm loving spring?? Wish the weather would cooperate!

Hi! I've been surfing the scrapping / stamping blogs tonight and it has led me here.
Your cards are gorgeous! Might have to be a regular visitor in order to grab some inspiration! :)

Love that sweet pea card. I looked at that stamp in it's cute acrylic case and thought, how will I ever use it? Well, you did... and it's beautiful. I always love the colors and patterns you create.
