Michelle over at Mish Mash started a countdown to summer. She is challenging us to make specific cards as we countdown to summer break. The theme was "hang in there" I knew I had the perfect stamp for this. The stamp is by great impressions. Today I tried out the PRISMACOLOR/GAMASOL technique for the first time. I was really happy with how the color seemed to move so easily.... would have tried it sooner if I knew it was so user friendly! I tied some hemp to look like the rope from the hammock. I also drew in the birds and sponged some tree tops. Very fun Michelle! Thanks for the challenge!
Details:
Great Impressions stamp
Bohemia pp
Gigga scallop punch

Sherrie, this is perfect!! I love hammocks and this definitely fits the *Hang in There* theme! Thanks for taking the challenge!!
Love your trees, they look like summer to me-am enjoying my two outside our window, complete with bird's nest right at eye level. Our low-maintenance garden.
This is such an adorable card! Sure makes me long for summer!
Wish i were in that hammock!!! Great card!
