Pure Innocence Owl Costume MFT Teaser

Welcome to that great time of the month better known as MFT Teaser time! You will find all the details of this months' release at the bottom of my post....enjoy!

Isn't she sweet all dressed up in her owl costume? I really enjoyed coloring her up....I did it a little differently.

Using Neenah cardstock (because it is a little softer) I stamped and clear embossed the image. I filled up my water pen with copic blending solution and then dripped out some copic refill colors on a plastic palette. I then painted the image, even the skin, with the water pen. I really should do a video to show you exactly how.....

I cut out the image with one of my circle STAX Die-namics matted with the Large Dizzy Doily and added a little trim accents with the Double Dot Border Die-namics. Paired up with some new "Attic Treasures" papers from Melissa Frances.

Here is a close up on the left to show the watercolor look with copic markers. Love how there are so many colors you can see in the feathers!

  14. Awesome card- I actually enjoyed the neutral base for your card, esp. since it is not used to often (at least not by me).
