I have had an ENORMOUS amount of fun getting back to my stamping roots with this new Circus Spectacular set! There are so many endless ideas in my brain for this set....if you are looking for versatile...this is it!
I have been wanting to make my own custom banner for a while. This one will be brought out on special birthday occasions. I can even see it used when my daughter wants to decorate a special friends car/locker at school...just to make someone smile.
The banner base itself was very simple....just sewing a bunch of triangles from canvas (not even finishing the edges)....SUPER simple sewing!
The fringe is hot glued on...you can buy these colored ones from Melissa Frances.
Here is a close look at the first banner piece. I embossed the images that were in my background in vanilla detail powder. The animals were stamped in Lemonade, Butterscotch, Juniper and Shell Pink Adirondack pigment ink. The "monkeys" are stamped in Brilliance chocolate pigment ink.
Here is a closer shot of a few of the animals....I just LOVE that they have script going through the images.
One more little detail on the banners. I used my crop-a-dile to punch a hole and set an eyelet at each tip. I then strung a chandelier drop (Melissa Frances) with pink twine and secure with an MFT button.
It is fun to have great party glasses...agree?!!!
I just punched a hole in each end of the new Labels 4 STAX with my left over patterned paper and added an animal to each one....so easy but SUPER CUTE!
Yes, those are McDonald's straws (I recycle them).
What is a party without good invites? These are quick and fun. I inked up the circus tent in my lemonade ink and then inked in some shell pink at the bottom for some interest. Added a little party ticket and tied in the patterned paper with the new double dot Die-namics. Quick and super easy to mass produce.
Leaving you with one last little group shot....not only did I have fun making this project....it was fun to photograph too :)
Here are my supplies.....HAPPY SHOPPING!
