Girly Girls

Welcome here! I have a week full of My Favorite Things teasers for you....I can't wait to show them all to you! Be sure to scroll to the BOTTOM of my post for all this months' release details....

So are you enjoying all the "teasing" this week from My Favorite Things? I am sure enjoying getting a chance to finally share them! This is a sweet new "A la Mode" image called "Polished to Perfection".

Raise your hand if you are a bit of a "Girly Girl"....You will see mine raising in the air. I love the pretty things of life and I do love some nail polish. My nails on my hands are really short (bad chewing habit)....but my toes love paint!

I made a little set you could use as a hostess gift or just something special for that girlfriend. It has been FOREVER that I have pulled out my shrink film so it was time.

Here is a close up of just the card and then the nail polish bottle. I covered it with glossy accents and then sprinkled clear glitter over top....so pretty!

Here is a close look at the shrink film piece. I cut out my new Label 4 STAX stamped the film in Memento ink and colored up with my copic markers. I also punched the hole in the top BEFORE shrinking.

Tip....a great way just to use your heat gun to shrink...do over a heat resistant surface and hold your paper piercer through the punched hole so that it won't blow away while shrinking. It curls all up at first, you just need to keep applying the heat until it flattens back out. My shrink film had a wee bit of texture to it...as you can see in the finished product.
