Rose Garden

It has been a while since I have played with the Thomas Kinkade stamps. They are so gorgeous and totally worth the time to color! You may not believe me, but I will tell you anyway, they don't actually take THAT long to color once you have done a few of them. Most of the work is done by the stamps. The shading is so detailed on these stamps that basically you can just throw down some color. I used my copic markers to color everything!
The total Thomas Kinkade line can be found at Cornish Heritage Farms. I also used CHF stamps for the background and the sentiment.

I wanted to point out the sentiment. I was thinking how would I fit one in without detracting from the lovely image. I stamped the Kinkade image a second time (in a lighter ink...hazelnut) and then stamped my sentiment over it and glued it on top of my image where it fit. Kind of a cool effect.
Here are the card deets:
Thomas Kinkade Rose Garden (CHF)
Silhouette Blooms II sentiment (CHF)
Canvas Background (CHF)
Ink:
Espresso, Hazelnut (Adirondack)
Paper:
Ultrasmooth (CHF)
Espresso, Suede Brown Light (Prism)
Accessories:
Copics
Copic spica glitter pen
Primas
Spring moss ribbon (papertrey)

Happy Stamping

I thought you had used vellum for the sentiment, but this works just as well (if not better because the colored area underneath doesn't distract from the words). I'll have to give that a try!f
