Little Lamb

You may have noticed I started tweeting :) Follow along, if you wish, by clicking the link on my sidebar.

Ready for some Pure Innocence SWEETNESS? I am loving the newest "Precious Little Lamb Upon a Star"! I colored it up with my copics using a "spotty" style of coloring with my E40 series of markers.
I paired up the little lamb with Melissa Frances Christmas paper in the background (you can see the pretty subtle snowflake pattern if you look close).

I also used that nifty new "Clearly Sentimental" Die-namics label. I cut up some cord pants of my daughters with this Die-namic. I thought I should mention that I still only use a cuttlebug as my die cut machine and these dies cut through fabric without a problem :) I stamped on the fabric with versacraft ink in black.
The little embellishments are a combination of Basic Grey brads and a wooden Studio Calico button.

Home Again and MFT Teasers!

I am just getting home today from a wonderful few days with some of my favorite people! The copic team met in Oregon and we had a fantastic time together (we did get some work done too). Here is just one of the many photos I was able to take on this trip. The colors were amazing! You can find lots of photos of this trip floating around on facebook, or if you would like a specific link to them please just drop me an e-mail :)
Welcome to another day of teasers from My Favorite Things! Today I am showing you a card I made with the new Christmas Ornaments Stamp and Die-namics set. I paired up these pretty Webster's Petite Pages with my new ornaments for an elegant look. I love the pretty and simple font that fits this ornament set. Itty bitty sentiments for the tag as well as larger ones like you see at the top of my card and stamped inside the ornament.
I can see these Die-namics added to my Christmas packages this year. It will be so easy to just choose a few patterned paper pieces and then cut a bunch!

Fred Bear

Welcome to the "MFT TEASERS"! All the details for this months' release you will be able to find at the bottom of this post.
This new image called "Fred Bear Catches some ZZZZZ's" inspired me to create a little pillow envelope for my card. A simple little fabric envelope was quick and easy to create and I added one of our new die-namics to the front of this envelope in the form of a pretty felt strip:)
When you pull on the little tab (also a new release Die-namic) you can see my Fred Bear was "hibernating". The cute sentiments were embossed with vanilla embossing powder.
Here is a close up of Fred that I colored up with my copic markers and used an old towel to create the texture on the bear (before coloring the mouse). I fabric pieced the little pillow he has his head on too!

Cutest Lil' Pumpkin!

Happy Friday! Whew, this week seems like a blur as I am getting ready for the Intermediate Certification in Langley tomorrow and then off to Oregon next week!
Getting everything done, photographs taken and edited but only have one little card to show you (out of the 7 I photographed)..... But it is a CUTIE!
We are in full pumpkin season here and the fall colors are so pretty! My daughter was going through her "fall" wardrobe and found these cord pants that didn't fit her anymore (plus they were worn out in the knees). I chopped them up and used them on todays' card. I wish you could stroke this card with me. I even fabric pieced her own cord pants!

The colors in the bucket are what I used for copic coloring my image. The original markers I used for airbrushing the sentiment tag and a bit of the background.

Enjoy your weekend! I will be having lots of coloring fun! Will see you all next week with the start of MFT teasers!

Wednesday Sketchin'

Sketch Wednesday is here already! I looked at this sketch and shuttered a bit at first glance. Look at all those crooked panels! I wasn't too sure how things would turn out so I went with the "style" of the sketch. I saw it as very vintage :) Vintage is one style in which you can throw together a collage of elements and it doesn't usually come off as "too busy".
Recognize the file folder? Yup, I had used the other piece to make my list holder on Monday.  I paired up my Melissa Frances papers with the "Just my Type" stamp and die-namic set from My Favorite Things.....ah....a little vintage loveliness:)

Please go and check out what the other girls came up with...especially with such a unique sketch! You will find the list on the MFT BLOG.
Enjoy your day!

VIP product tour

It's that time of the month again.....VIP time! I love this new "Who's that Girl Gets Cozy with Cocoa?"....so cozy, and don't you love the circle format? I am stashing this away for a time when I want to insert a sweet little somethin' into the kids' lunch.
That's right....you spotted it.....look at that fabulous new flower die! It is called the "loopy flower die-namic". It is so easy to make and just looks plain SCRUMPTIOUS in felt!
Here is a clear shot of the main image...which I colored up with my copics (E31,23,25,29/G82,85/E50,53 and blender). You can buy this VIP kit HERE and don't forget to check out all the designers' blogs listed on the MFT BLOG.

Monday List Making

Monday's are for list making....I don't know about you but if I don't write it down...you can consider it lost forever. My kids know this about me and are very good at WRITING DOWN important info. Today I felt crafty just for the fun of it so I decided to make a little pretty list holder. I had cut up a basic file folder for another project (which I can't show you yet) so I had this section left....which led to the base of my holder.
I attached a little clip for a pen (that will HOPEFULLY stay with the list).

Happy List Making Monday!
